Hiking

There are so many of these it's almost uncountable. Three Fingers, Two Trains, High Trail to the Wind Caves, Upper Road, Skinny People, Geode Heaven, Thousand Eyes, Amasa Back, and more.

Disc Golf

$5 fee to play. Described as one of the three most extreme courses in the world, currently rated in the Top 5 by Newsweek. It’s memorable. UDisc Profile

Vehicle Rentals

We have three side by sides. Two four seater Kymco’s and one six seater Polaris in the garage at Last Hurrah next door. I’ve begun charging $250 for each day you use them.

Kayaking

We have six kayaks, four of them singles and two doubles. We have a beach (usually), a boat ramp, and a boat dock. We’ll find a place to put you in the river.

Beach

Generally we have a beach from sometime in July into April.

Rocks, Fossils, Minerals

From the front porch I can point to three locations you can find various types of fossils and one with dinosaur footprints.

More

There are great sunsets, incredible night skies, and a moon so bright you can see your shadow. Native American sites, petroglyphs, abandoned oil wells, old mines of all types. If you’re a photographer it’s unlikely you’ll ever take as many pictures anywhere else.

Nothing

If none of the above is an answer to your list of things to do options, you can sit on the porch watching the lizards scurry by, birds and squirrels feeding, or whatch the occasional boats and rafts come by and just relax. Something some folks might have forgot how to do

Never:

Never go anywhere without telling us and without taking a walkie talkie. We’ve never had a guest get seriously injured and we absolutely need to keep it that way. We have spent way more time than we care to remember taking injured hikers, bike riders, motorcycle, side by side, and four wheel drive vehicles drivers and riders to the hospital in Moab, none of which have been our guests/friends or under our watch.

Always:

Stay on the trail. Some goofball going off the trail leaving tracks does not mean it’s a trail for you to follow. There’s always one group or another trying to figure out a reason for shutting down the trails and should that happen it won’t be because of us.

Base Camp "stuff happens" Waiver:

The activities you may be involved in while here and in the surrounding area have risks. Because of the potential for extreme elements, varying landscapes and temperatures, you’ve got to help us do everything you can to increase your odds of having a safe and enjoyable experience.
